Hi. I’m Fran Berkoff, a a Toronto-based consulting dietitian with over 35 years experience coaching individuals to achieve their nutrition and health goals. In addition to my counselling practice, I consult for business and health organizations and deliver nutrition seminars and workshops.
As a weekly columnist for the Toronto Sun newspaper for over 20 years, my goal was to keep readers up to date on all the latest nutrition news and views. I wrote monthly columns in Canadian Living and Reader’s Digest Magazine and I have contributed to a variety of other print media. I am also a frequent guest on radio and television programs.
I have co-authored three Canadian best sellers, Power Eating: How To Play Hard And Eat Smart For The Time Of Your Life, The Vitality Cookbook and More Vitality Cooking and was senior consultant on the revision of Foods That Harm, Foods That Heal and Cook Smart for a Healthy Heart, both Reader’s Digest publications.
Fran Berkoff received her degree in nutrition at The University of Western Ontario and completed her dietetic internship at the Vancouver General Hospital. She is a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario, the Dietitians of Canada, the Consulting Dietitians of Canada and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
